Family Portraits: Katie Expecting, April 15, 2010

Katie was positively glowing when I arrived to take pictures of her and her family. Wyatt seemed very happy that he would soon receive a baby sister, but not quite as happy as he was about his awesome fishing pole that his dad made for him to reel in bass from the bushes outside of their house. Luckily, in just a few short years his sister will be big enough to help carry the "fish" around for him. :)

Anna Expecting: April 8, 2010

I took these photos of Anna 20 days before the arrival of her beautiful baby boy. The excitement and happiness she has surrounding her first child is easy to see, and when her husband Casey joined us later for some couple shots it solidified in my mind how lucky her little boy is to be able to start out his life with such two wonderful people for his parents. :)

Her mom had a giant blue bow and insisted we take a few special pictures for her with it. I think the bow managed to actually be larger than Anna's belly!
